CRC funds – Bill Kushner recommended the following
for the $9300 balance in the CRC account:

$1,000 Ashrae
research
·
$3,000 Scholarship
fund
·
$5,300 General
fund ($2,000 to be used to pay for the Social night for CRC volunteers and their spouses)
It was agreed to table the discussion on the General fund usage until next meeting.

Vendor tables -
The following were recommendations for vendor tables:

Ferguson/Thrall

Columbia Pipe

Gustav Larson

Johnstone Supply

Steiner Electric
It was agreed that the vendor be given approx. 5 minutes to speak at the meeting

Possible tours – The following were recommended for
bus tours:

Atlas Cold Storage
– Belvidere
·
Alliance Energy – Madison (“Green building”)
·
McHenry County Auxillary Building
·
Northwest Community Hospital

Ø Membership:
· Sergio Zamora is a member of LaVos Latina (community outreach
program) he suggested bringing students in to get involved in Ashrae and promote new membership
Ø
Ø New Business
· Ashrae offers speakers that the Chapter can hire to do presentations
for their monthly Chapter meetings. It was reviewed by the BOG and voted down
due to the expense.
Ø Ø Action Items
To be reviewed at next month’s meeting:
1.
Social night – Recommendations included having a Casino Night, going to a Casino, a play
at the Fireside, the Odyssey at Chicago’s Navy Pier for a boat ride and dinner (if Social night is moved to June)
2.
Choose a vendor
for a vendor table
3.
Agree on one of
the tours for a meeting
